Time to be INTOLERANT!!

If you belong to India, you must have heard recent herald of intolerance. Let’s see the things objectively and analyse the what, why and when of the issue.
By birth Indians have been taught to be tolerant. They are open-minded towards anything and everything. Since ages we have been living in a country run by God. According to us, God has the solution to even problems created by man. After God turned away, came the ages of leaders. We have never been identified by a country. We are either known to world by gods or leaders we have.
As Indians, we will not be bothered by the corruption around us. Hell, we will even allow us to be played as spawns in the hands of politicians. We are ready to live in a god forsaken country. Even before birth, we have accepted our fate. We don’t want to change nor let others change. And to be perfectly clear, we are not ignorant. We came, we saw and we let others conquer.
To prove my point, I’ll even provide you with familiar platitude. We love the river – GANGA. You start your journey in the world from the sacred water of the river and end being the ashes in the river. Only you change but Ganga does not. We know it’s being polluted but we are being tolerant.
We have been presenting India as Bharat Maa. We have numerous goddesses who shower us with wealth and knowledge. Technically, women should have the highest status in our society among all the different cultures in the world. But the status of women in India is not beyond the vision of an ordinary India. But we are being tolerant.
Every time you say “Chalta hai (I’m okay with it)”, you are being tolerant. You are being choked gradually to death in the toxins of pollution. But still you are fine with it.
So we are anything but tolerant. Actually calling Indians intolerant is a good step towards mending our ways. It means Indians are taking part in the country India. We should be intolerant to all the bullshit going around us. We should be blamed for ignorance. At least for once, we should not let politicians play us in the name of religious intolerance. If someone asks me, I would say that it’s time to be intolerant to all the non sense going around. The voice of India is not the voice of its politicians. It’s the voice of all the whispering and shouting and crying. The painting of India should be an abstract with as many colours as there are people in this country.
